Join us on Orcas Island

Orcas Island lies off the coast of  Washington, north of the Seattle area. Transportation options to the island include car or walk-on ferry, water taxi, air flight, or airport shuttle/ferry. On-island car rentals or taxis are available. 


By ferry or air, arrivals are filled with dramatic beauty.

Program Fees & Lodging with Meals

Three Day / 2 night: Mushroom and Lichen Dyeing Retreat with Alissa Allen

For those departing on a Sunday evening ferry or plane, lodging package is available for 2 nights, Fri and Sat, and includes the 6 meals. Same lodging/meal rate for additional non-education guests in room and includes 6 meals.

Small group class and all retreat materials

Retreat session start Friday Oct 27th at 1 pm and has day and evening activities through Sunday Oct 29th at 3pm. Expert instruction, materials for projects, and a take home supply bag.

On site cabin lodging (2 nights) and 6 meals

$325

 On site private, heated cabins for singles or 2 or more booking together. Singles have a private cabin with shared bath house nearby. Group of 2 or more can include one enrolled plus family or friends (who are not enrolled in the retreat but do have lodging and meals provided). Lodging check in is Friday at 4pm and check out is Sunday at 1pm.


Private bins are bunkhouse style; BYO bedding, towels and toiletries.

On Island? See Day Camper (no lodging) registration button below for on-island residents or those with other lodging. Select class and meals for Day Camp package. 


Saturday Dinner Event for guest islanders also available below at Day Camp button. $35 adult / $15 kids 15 and under.

On site private cabins are heated and have an ensuite bathroom for 2 or more residents booking together. Groups must have at least one person enrolled in Camp (family and friends welcome). Singles for 3 nights have a private cabin with nearby bath house (email for single needing 3 night ensuite bathroom add on).  Lodging check in is Friday at 4pm and check out is Monday at 10am. 


Private cabins are bunkhouse style; BYO bedding, towels and toiletries.
